Larry and Marilyn Baack of Columbus recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Baack and the former Marilyn Bettmann were married Aug. 5, 1962, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Mr. Baack is retired from St. Peter’s Lutheran School where he worked as a teacher and athletic director.
Mrs. Back is retired from Sears.

The couple have four children, Joleen (Scott) Krueger of Elizabethtown, Randy (Jill) Baack of Seward, Nebraska, Darrin (Jessica) Baack of Belleville, Illinois, and Korry Baack of Washington, D.C. They also have nine grandchildren.
