Olympians notch win

Columbus East didn’t play as well as it did in its previous two matches, but still managed a 213-243 win against Batesville at Otter Creek.

Lily Shelp led the Olympians with a 49. Autumn Fateley carded a 53, Ellie Buntin added a 55, Morgan Harrison shot 56 and Lauren Steinwedel had a 58.

Eagles take second

NASHVILLE — Brown County finished second and Edinburgh third in a tri match at Salt Creek. Whiteland won with a 186 to 205 for the Eagles and 214 for the Lancers.

Brown County’s Ashley Masteller was co-medalist with a 39. Lauren Burker carded a 52, Meghan Cassiday added a 56, Kacee Kleindorfer and Allison Stogsdill each shot 58 and Jessica Taylor had a 62.

Vanessa McManaway led Edinburgh with a 45. Savannah Kellams carded a 52, Kierra Richards added a 57, Madison Giles and Morgan Calhoun each shot 60, and Bethany Burton had a 70.

Cougar cards a 62

HENRYVILLE — Trinity Lutheran had one golfer compete in a match against Henryville at Champions Pointe.

Morgan Gabbard finished with a 62 for the Cougars. Henryville shot 195 as a team.
