Lancers top Spartans
EDINBURGH — Edinburgh’s Vanessa McManaway ran away with the medalist honors, shooting a 40 to help the Lancers beat Southwestern (Shelby) 191-277 at Timbergate Golf Course.
Makenzie Hill added a 49 for Edinburgh. Kierra Richards added a 50, Morgan Calhoun shot 52, Savannah Kellams had a 55, Maddy Giles finished with a 61, Bethany Burton shot 65, Emma Wade had a 71 and Destiny Myers added a 72.
Eagles fall on tiebreaker
BLOOMINGTON — Brown County tied with Brownstown Central at 202, but the Braves won on the fifth-score tiebreaker at Cascades.
Ashley Masteller won the medalist with a 44 for the Eagles. Lauren Burker carded a 49, Meghan Cassiday added a 51, Jessica Taylor shot 58, Allison Stogsdill had a 59 and Kacee Kleindorfer finished with a 60.
