Get ready to party at the Columbus Area Arts Council’s final, free JCB NeighborFEST street concert of the season with the Pork N Beans Brass Band at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in front of The Commons at 300 Washington St. The lively ensemble promises to bring a Mardi Gras jubilation to the proceedings. Band members say they “follow in the footsteps of the great street bands of New Orleans and play those funky dance beats that make you get up and move.” Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
