Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance workers will replace a drainage structure under Nelson Ridge Road on the north side of State Road 46 on Tuesday.
Flaggers will direct motorists around crews and equipment on Nelson Ridge Road, which is 7 miles west of Interstate 65, and occasionally will be directing traffic on State Road 46 near the drainage structure. There will be periods when Nelson Ridge Road is completely closed to traffic while workers excavate the pavement to replace a 12-inch, 50-foot-long drainage pipe.
The work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Tuesday and should continue through mid-afternoon, weather permitting.
