The Bartholomew County Democratic Party will have an open house for prospective candidates for the 2018 election.
The event will provide information about positions up for election, including job responsibilities, salaries and current incumbents. Recent Democratic candidates will discuss how to file, campaign strategies and funding and tools that are available to help candidates.
The event will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Democratic Headquarters, 1417 Chestnut St.
