COLUMBUS
Sandra K. Smith, 67, of Columbus, died at her home Wednesday, August 30, 2017.
Mrs. Smith was retired after 40 years from Cummins Engine Company where she was a Configuration Auditor. She was a member of Faith Temple Church, loved spending time with her family and friends, and was an avid bowler and golfer.
In keeping with Mrs. Smith’s wishes, cremation is planned and a Celebration of Life service will be held at Faith Temple Church and inurnment will take place at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
The family request that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Temple Church.

She was born on January 24, 1950, the daughter of Raymond L. and Sadie Marie Zeigler Mitchell.
On June 27, 1971, she married Johnnie Eugene Smith. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2015.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Jacob Smith and Morgan Smith, both of Columbus; daughter-in-law, Vicki Smith of Columbus; brother, Ken (Denise) Mitchell of Columbus; several other brothers- and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Kenny Smith.
