Bartholomew County Highway workers will be chip sealing on Lake Road between State Road 58 and the Brown County line on Wednesday.
Contractors also will be working on Carr Hill Road between Willow Lane and the Interstate 65 overpass on Thursday and Friday, if weather permits.
The county highway department is asking motorists to avoid the areas while the work is being done.
