Heart Smart program starts Sept. 13

A monthlong series of classes for people wishing to reduce their risk for heart disease will get underway Sept. 13.

The Be Heart Smart program consists of four one-hour weekly classes to teach individuals how to monitor and lower their risk factors for heart disease.

Each Wednesday night class will begin at 6:30 p.m. inside Faith Ministries, 5103 State Road 46 West. Bartholomew County Purdue Extension educator Harriet Armstrong will be the course instructor.

Cost is $8 per person, with light snacks provided at each class.
