John and Judy Smith of East County Road 50N plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their family from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at Asbury United Methodist Church.
Mr. Smith and the former Judith Hendricks were married Sept. 23, 1967, at Crawfordsville First Baptist Church by the Rev. Milo Riggs.
Mr. Smith is retired from Cummins Inc.
Mrs. Smith is a homemaker.
The couple have a daughter, Stephanie Wood of Whiteland, and three grandchildren.
