• the Columbus Regional Hospital emergency department for volunteering their time and talents at the Mill Race Marathon.

• all the volunteers and the EMTs at the Mill Race Marathon, especially Sharon who helped me in the medic tent.
• the lady and young man we let in front of us in line who then paid for our groceries.
• a nice young lady who bought my lunch in the hospital cafeteria on Sunday, telling me she was doing her good deed for the day.
