Deadline nearing for wildlife refuge contest

The entry deadline is 4 p.m. Thursday for the National Wildlife Refuge Week Photo Contest at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50 in Seymour.

The subject of the contest is photos of Muscatatuck, and any picture taken by a non-commercial photographer at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge is eligible.

The contest includes categories for both student and adult entries. Two entries are allowed per photographer. Prints must be at least 5 inches by 7 inches in size, and mounted on a stiff backing (no frames or wires) with no significant alterations. Other rules apply, and an official entry form should be secured to the back of the entry.

Entries will be displayed in the Muscatatuck Visitor Center until the end of November. The Best of Show winning entry will also be reproduced in the refuge newsletter.

For a complete list of rules or an entry form, send an email to [email protected] or stop in at the office or visitor center.
