Tennessee woman in fair condition, 3 others hurt, infant uninjured

Four people were injured, one of them severely, in a two-vehicle accident on East State Road 46 southeast of Columbus.

Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputy Matt Bush was sent to the accident at 5:27 p.m. Sunday at 14000 E. State Road 46.

Tyler Hadley, 30, and Jessica Hadley, 32, both of Hope, were traveling east on State Road 46 when they saw a Nissan vehicle, which spinning out of control, hit their vehicle, deputies said.

The driver of the Nissan was identified as Lauren Norris, 29, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, whose passengers were Cody Minatra, 33, of Smyrna, Tennessee and Norris’ 1-year-old son.

The Hadleys were taken to Columbus Regional Hospital, where they were treated and released. Minatra was admitted to Columbus Regional Hospital, then released Tuesday.

Norris also was taken to Columbus Regional, but was transferred to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, where she was listed in fair condition early Tuesday afternoon.

The infant in the car seat was not injured, deputies said.
