Onions to …

• the person who dumped four tires complete with rims at Anderson Falls instead of taking them to the landfill

• many in our community who do not understand the differences between county government and city government, and who should learn this before laying blame.

• those who believe our national anthem celebrates war when it really celebrates freedom.

• those who say Medicare is not an entitlement program.

• gun-control advocates who need to check into how strict gun laws have worked in larger cities such as New York City, Baltimore, Chicago and Los Angeles.

• the official encouraging people to bring canned goods to their float during the parade, a potentially dangerous practice.

• to people who think they have a right to protest at work and not face consequences.

• high bids for a new walking path in Columbus: $200,000 for a sidewalk — really?

• those who falsely accuse the president of a tax plan that benefits him.

• those who think NFL players who have the right to protest at work while most people cannot do whatever they want while they’re at work.
