Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies have arrested a local man on a charge of armed robbery after an incident at a gas station in Hope.
Joseph Freeman V, 27, Columbus, was arrested at his home on a charge of armed robbery after the robbery was reported at 6:40 p.m. Saturday, deputies said.
He is being held in the Bartholomew County Jail, deputies said.
Deputies said a man entered the facility Saturday and displayed a handgun, demanding money. More information about the incident is expected to be released Monday.
