Nov. 27 is the deadline to register to participate in North Vernon’s downtown Christmas parade, which starts at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2.

Nov. 27 also is also the deadline to register for a booth in North Vernon’s Christmas Market Place in the Stellar Plaza in North Vernon on Dec. 2. It will feature arts, crafts, food and a variety of items.
The Market Place will be a part of the Christmas in the City Holiday Celebrations, which will include the lighting of the city Christmas tree, a live nativity scene, photos with Santa Clause, miniature train rides for children and an evening of musical entertainment.
