Pack-a-Patrol-Car drive wraps up campaign

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department delivered 2,934 pounds of non-perishable food and personal hygiene items to Love Chapel’s Food Pantry Wednesday as part of the third annual Pack-a-Patrol-Car food drive.

Two large boxes of food and hygiene items are being donated to The Salvation Army, 2525 Illinois St., deputies said.

Donated items were dropped off at the Bartholomew County Jail, and collected during the Ethnic Expo parade and at Kroger Marketplace on Nov. 4.

Sheriff department staff members Tammy Johnson and Jessica Niese organized this year’s Pack-a-Patrol-Car drive.
