North to host day for Cheer Fund, White Creek Lutheran
Columbus North will host “Cheer Fund Day” at its girls basketball game against Terre Haute South on Saturday afternoon.
Fans are asked to bring a new or gently-used toy, book, game or other item to donate to the Columbus Fire Department Cheer Fund for needy children. Some firemen, as well as North freshman team members will have collection boxes at the games.
Saturday also will be “White Creek Lutheran School Day.” Players and coaches from White Creek will be recognized at halftime of the varsity game, which will start around 2:30 p.m.
