A vigil to end gun violence is planned at 5:15 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, 512 Seventh St.
The vigil will be in the church’s Laws Room, organizers said.
The purpose of the event is to remember the 500,000 Americans killed or injured by guns since the Sandy Hook School shooting tragedy in 2012.
