Farm market vendor workshop planned

Purdue Extension is offering a workshop to teach, discuss and clarify market policies and food safety regulations for farm market vendors.

The event is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Purdue Extension Bartholomew County office, 785 S. Marr Road, Suite A, in Columbus.

It will include vendors, market managers, county health departments and expert presenters, and also will cover business and marketing topics.

Purdue Extension’s Farmers Market Vendor Workshop Series is part of its Market Basket 360 initiative, which is designed to help businesses thrive and grow at the farmers market.
