• the gentleman who stopped and helped me when I flipped my car on County Road 600N.

• the gentlemen that paid for our food in the drive-thru at Wendy’s on Wednesday, from the couple driving the silver Nissan Quest.

• the woman working register No. 5 at the east-side Walmart on Thursday who did such a fantastic job when my bank card wouldn’t work because I forgot to activate the new pin number.

• the wonderful nurses on Tower 7 for taking such good care of me, from Rosalyn.

• Americans who are calling out the president for using vile, racist language.

• the writers of the excellent letters on the opinion page of Friday’s Republic.

• Jill at Columbus Animal Hospital for bringing my dog’s medicine to me in the car during the rain/sleet on Friday morning so I didn’t have to get my 3-year-old out in the weather, from Sheba’s mother.
