North Vernon’s Corinne Finnerty, an attorney with the law firm of McConnell Finnerty P.C., is one of two new appointments by Gov. Eric Holcomb to the State Ethics Commission.
The commission conducts monthly public meetings during which it issues advisory opinions and receives complaints filed by the inspector general, according to the commission’s Web page. The inspector general is charged with investigating fraud, waste and wrongdoing in state government.
Finnerty’s term expires Dec. 31, 2021.
