BOYS BASKETBALL

Jets coast past Eagles

OSGOOD — Mason Sherman scored 22 points, and Alex Gross added 20 Friday night to lead Hauser to a 71-53 win at Jac-Cen-Del.

Justin Compton added 17 points for the Jets (14-6). Hauser led 51-41 after three quarters before pulling away in the fourth.

Crusaders down Lions

INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus Christian built a 31-22 lead at halftime and held on for a 56-49 win at Columbus Christian.

C.J. Reed led the Crusaders (12-18) with 17 points. Conner Emily added 15, and Kyle Foster had 10.

South Decatur-Waldron

WALDRON — Matt Cornett tallied 26 points and 20 rebounds to lead South Decatur to a 66-55 Mid-Hoosier Conference win at Waldron.

Lane Lauderbaugh added 25 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals for the Cougars (3-16, 1-5).

Lancers fall to GCA

EDINBURGH — Edinburgh put four players in double figures, but came away with an 81-69 loss to Greenwood Christian Academy.

Christian Cox and Coltan Henderson each scored 16 points to lead the Lancers (11-8). Bryce Burton added 13, and Justin Fosskuhl had 12.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Columbus Christian falls

INDIANAPOLIS — Horizon Christian jumped out to a 37-13 halftime lead and went on to hand Columbus Christian a 68-29 defeat.

Kayla Jones led the Crusaders (3-14) with 17 points.
