COLUMBUS
Shirley Russell, 76, of Columbus, passed from this life at 12:25 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Shirley retired from Arvin Industries and was a former caregiver.
The funeral will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.

Shirley was born October 8, 1941 in Columbus. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Bertie Hill.
Survivors include her son, Rick Russell of Columbus; grandchildren, Erica A. Russell and Will A. Russell; and her friend and caregiver, Lois Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Windell Russell.
