Crime watch meeting set

Taylorsville Crime Watch will discuss local crime issues at a meeting at 6 p.m. today in the office gymnasium at Heritage Heights, 2895 Henry Lakes Blvd., Columbus.

Topics will include possible solutions to crime issues and upcoming training events for local residents to help deter crime.

Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers will discuss crime issues with local residents. A question-and-answer session will follow as time allows.

Pamphlets about safety will be available for attendees.

A Spanish translator will be at the meeting. Xfinity company representatives will be on hand to discuss services, including closed circuit cameras.
