The 16th annual Gospel Musical at Faith, Hope and Love Church of God in Christ, meant to bring together ensembles from the area’s predominantly black churches for fellowship during Black History Month, unfolded Sunday before about 200 people at the Elizabethtown church.
Performers included singers and others from more than half a dozen churches.
Speakers included the Rev. Mike Harris and Secenia Harris of Faith, Hope and Love Church of God in Christ, elder John Edwards from Second United Methodist Church, Stella Collins of the Bartholomew County Area Chapter of the NAACP, Ralph Haywood, and Pastor David Bosley  of Dayspring Church of God Apostolic.
