Addy Lewis, Columbus East junior gymnast
Lewis tied for eighth on the beam with a 9.25 and finished 21st in the all-around with a 35.35 Saturday to help lead the Olympians to a fourth-place finish in the state finals.
Her performance last week: “I think that I did the best that I could with a hurt knee. Floor and vault are really hard for me to do, but I think that I did pretty good on beam and bars.”
Do you do anything special to prepare? “I usually eat Qdoba before a meet and just kind of goof around and try not to take things too serious and focus on everybody else on the team and hype everybody else up.”
