COLUMBUS
Glynda R. Delaney, 62, of Patterson Road, died at 8:05 a.m. March 22, 2018, at her sister’s home.
Glynda was born November 5, 1955, in Columbus, the daughter of Paul James and Irene Blair Lee.
She married James Richard Delaney December 8, 1979.
She was a 1976 graduate of Academy High School in Davie, Florida.
Glynda was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018,at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Fields officiating. Calling will be 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Lee, Jerry Lee, Frank Lee, Paul Lee, J.R. Delaney and Chuck Lee.
Memorials may be made to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Survivors include her husband, James; son, James Richard Delaney III of Columbus; daughter, Crystal Delaney of Columbus; brothers, Jerry (Toni) Lee, Delbert (Margie) Lee, Frank Lee, Don Lee, all of Columbus, and Charles Lee of Somerset, Kentucky, and Paul (Charlotte) Lee of Nashville, Tennessee; a sister, Wilma (David) Leonard Columbus; grandchildren, Austin Tatman, Gloria Tatman, Valerie Delaney and McKayla Delaney; and her mother-in-law, Cheryl Walker of Summerfield, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jessie Lee and William Thomas Lee; and her brother-in-law, Bob Summers.
