Lecture series to discuss city’s future

Ivy Tech Community College Columbus will host the final event in a lecture series this week that will look at the future of Columbus.

The presentation, “Columbus Future,” will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Columbus Learning Center auditorium, 4555 Central Ave, and is free to attend. Earlier installments of the series discussed the city’s past and present.

Panelists for the “Columbus Future” session include Cindy Frey, president of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce; Mary Ferdon, executive director of community development and administration for the city of Columbus; Richard McCoy, director of Landmark Columbus; David Harrell, assistant professor of crop production at Ivy Tech; and Andy Pajakowski, director of business development and electrification at Cummins Inc.
