COLUMBUS, Ind. — Indiana University is marking its third IU Day on Wednesday.
It’s a 24-hour binge-watching, social-sharing, IU-wearing, online celebration of Indiana University and the people who support it.
The university, including IUPUC in Columbus, is reaching out to students, graduates, parents, employees and friends to join other IU supporters from around the world for IU Day.
For this event, IUPUC is hosting its first crowdfunding campaign, Educate to Improve Mental Health. The campaign is live through Wednesday, with dollars raised during this campaign supporting creation of a mental health lab at IUPUC. All dollars donated will be matched up to $25,000.
Donations can be made at iufoundation.fundly.com/educate-to-improve-mental-health.
Also planned for Wednesday is a panel discussion with IUPUC faculty members at IUCA+D on “Psychology/Sociology/Geography & Architecture — the positive and negative effects of the built environment on mental, physical, and social well-being.”
The free event begins at 7:30 a.m. IUCA+D is at 310 Jackson St. in Columbus.
