Pence returning to Indiana for tax-cut talk

Vice President Mike Pence will be a special guest of America First Policies during an April 26 event in Indianapolis, the group has announced.

The program with Columbus native Pence, the former Indiana governor, is intended to explain how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will impact Hoosiers and people across the nation, said Brian Walsh, president of America First Policies, on the organization’s website.

The program will be at 10:30 a.m. April 26, although a specific location has not yet been announced. Seating will be on a first-come, first served basis.

America First Policies describes itself as a non-profit organization supporting key policy initiatives that will work for all citizens in the country and put America first.

The national tour kicked off Feb. 2 in Pittsburgh and has included stops in at least 10 states.
