Bartholomew County offices and the Courthouse are closed.
The Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District office and the Columbus/Bartholomew County Recycling Center, 720 S. Mapleton St., are closed. The Bartholomew County Landfill at 811 E. County Road 450S will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Columbus city trash/compost/brush and recycling will run on a normal schedule today, although the office will be closed and will reopen Wednesday at 7 a.m. Have toters out by 7 a.m. For information: 812-376-2509.
Columbus City Utilities will be closed and regular business hours resume at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Customers who have problems with their water or sewer service should call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
