Jennings County man arrested on child-solicitation charge

COLUMBUS, Ind. — An investigation by Indiana State Police detectives led to the arrest of a North Vernon man on charges related to attempted child solicitation.

Christopher Blackburn, 45, was booked into the Jennings County Jail at 1:52 p.m. Wednesday, on a warrant for charges of child solicitation, level 5 felony; attempted vicarious sexual gratification, level 5 felony; and attempted possession of child pornography, level 6 felony, according to jail records and a State Police spokesman.

Blackburn was released Friday from the Jennings County Jail on $2,555 bond, according to jail officials.
