All Indiana public housing units smoke-free effective this week

All Indiana public housing residents as of Monday are no longer allowed to smoke tobacco in any federally-owned public housing.

In fact, the new rules state that smoking isn’t allowed within 25 feet of those buildings.

Since July 30, every public housing agency in the U.S. is now smoke free, including Columbus, according to an announcement by Healthy Communities.
