JENNINGS COUNTY — Indiana State Police are investigating a case of a body being found in a lake near Forest Grove Lane in Country Squire Lakes subdivision near North Vernon.
Troopers were called to the lake at 7:30 p.m. Monday about a report of a deceased adult male, who has not been identified, said Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, Indiana State Police spokesman.
An autopsy is being performed today in Seymour to determine the identity of the man and cause of death, Wheeles said.

The Indiana State Police is being assisted by the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana Conservation Officers, and Jennings County Coroner’s Office.
