Boil advisory issued for some Grandview residents

COLUMBUS, Ind. — A boil water advisory has been issued for some Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corp. customers in the Grandview Lake area, on the west side of Columbus.

Water will be off from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday for a water main repair on Grandview Drive. Customers starting at the Grandview Lot Owners Association office and ending at 11251 W. Grandview Drive will be affected, the water company said.

A boil water advisory will be in effective after the water is restored until 4 p.m. Friday, for the same customers. As a precaution, customers should bring water to a full boil for five minutes before consumption or use in cooking and food preparation, Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corp. said.
