COLUMBUS, Ind. — The annual “Men Take a Stand to End Violence” campaign took a new and successful twist in Columbus this year.
Nick Grams, manager of the Amazing Joe’s at 2607 Central Ave., took to the roof of his restaurant at noon Monday to raise awareness about the impact of domestic violence.
Grams pledged to stay there for 24 hours, during a period when the temperature would drop below freezing, unless he could get 100 people sooner than that to each make $100 pledges to Turning Point Domestic Violence Services.
