Most of the high school sporting events involving area teams scheduled for today have been postponed.
The Hoosier Hills Conference girls swim meet, featuring Columbus East and Jennings County, has been moved to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Floyd Central. A makeup date for the HHC wrestling tournament will be determined this morning and likely will be Wednesday or Jan. 19 at Jeffersonville.
The Conference Indiana wrestling tournament, featuring Columbus North, has been moved to 5 p.m. Friday at Bloomington North. The Bull Dogs’ girls basketball game at Bloomington South has been moved to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 19.
Jennings County’s boys basketball game at Bedford North Lawrence has been moved to Tuesday, and the Panthers’ girls basketball game at Brownstown Central has been moved to Jan. 21. Trinity Lutheran’s boys basketball game at Brownstown has been moved to Tuesday.
The Western Indiana Conference wrestling tournament, featuring Brown County, has been moved to Jan. 19 at Edgewood.
Decisions on the remaining events scheduled for today, including East’s girls basketball game at New Albany and boys basketball game at Seymour and Hauser’s boys basketball game at Milan, will be made this morning.
