• the Senate majority leader for his refusal to call a vote and reopen the federal government.

• the people suggesting I move away from the train tracks if I don’t like the horns when I’m on the farthest northeast side of town away from the tracks.

• President Trump, for insisting on shutting down the government and hurting innocent government workers and their families and citizens of the United States.

• the growing number of people in the United States who think what other people believe is their business.

• the Democratic leadership for their personal political bullheadedness, preventing the building of the much needed wall and the progress of renewing conventional government processes.

• the complainers of the train whistles and horns, because they were there a very long time before you decided to live there.

• the city for the pathetic clearing of the roads.

• the Pence-Trump team for keeping us in a state of perpetual chaos and uncertainty.

• area restaurants who made employees go into work under the the snow travel warning.

• families who park cars in two bays at the grocery gas station only to use the one pump, preventing other customers from using the second bay’s pump.

• the county for only worrying about flooding problems when they want to build a new highway garage.

• the pharmacy that wants you to sign with the same stylus every sick person in town has touched.
