North graduate is second in California League in RBIs

Devin Mann is off to a fast start at the Class A level with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

Mann, a 2015 Columbus North graduate, leads the Quakes with 22 RBIs and 20 runs scored, ranking second in the California league in RBIs. He is second on the team with a .267 batting average, eight doubles and five home runs.

A 2018 fifth-round draft pick out of Louisville, Mann spent most of last summer and fall with the Great Lakes Loons. He has played second base, third base and first base for Rancho Cucamonga this spring.

The Quakes are 19-12 and in first place in the California League South Division going into tonight’s game against Inland Empire.
