INDIANAPOLIS – Dr. Nabin Khanal has joined Franciscan Physician Network Oncology and Hematology Specialists.
He joins a team of physicians and advanced practice providers who care for patients at Franciscan Health Cancer Center in Indianapolis, Columbus, Franklin, Mooresville and Rushville. Khanal will see patients at Indianapolis and Rushville.
Khanal most recently completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Creighton University Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.
Board-certified in internal medicine, he earned his medical degree from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Khanal is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association. He has past memberships with the Association of Veterans Affairs Hematology and Oncology and American College of Physicians.
He has published research on a variety of topics ranging from hematology and lung cancer to colon cancer and cancer survivorship.
