Due to safety concerns during the coronavirus pandemic, there are some temporary changes and consolidations of the usual Jennings County polling sites.
According Jennings County Election Deputy Brenda King, the changes were made for ease in accommodating social distancing requirements and other concerns.
“These changes are temporary. We will go back to using the usual sites after this election, “ King said. “We just have to do what we need to do to get through this pandemic mess with the least amount of problems as possible. Then, things will go back to normal.”
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m on June 2. Call the Jennings County Election Office at (812) 352-3070 with any questions.
