Columbus East has hired defensive coordinator Eddie Vogel as its head football coach.
Vogel replaces Bob Gaddis, the state’s sixth all-time winningest coach who retired after spending the past 20 seasons at East. Vogel was head coach at Evansville Bosse from 1999-2001 and has been an assistant at East since 2002.
