• St. Peter’s sixth graders and Mrs. Carothers for the treats and being so neighborly, from Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center.

• the Learning Tree Preschool for a wonderful trike-a-thon, the kiddos really enjoyed it, thanks to the teachers and volunteers for helping, from an LTP parent.

• Smith Elementary PTO for all the goodies this week! You ladies have gone above and beyond this year and we appreciate it, from Smith Staff.

• being able to gather once again with friends after months apart.

• the recount of ballots in Maricopa County, Arizona.

• Rep. Liz Cheney for having the backbone to say the truth about the Big Lie.

• Jerry Maulin for the excellent letter.

• Beth West for her excellent letter.

• our neighbor Jenny for her well-kept yard and beautiful flower gardens, it is such a joy to see when we drive by on our way to and from town.

• the gentleman who retrieved my wallet which I dropped while getting into my vehicle in the Rural King parking lot on a rainy Tuesday.

• the administration for paying people not to work.

• anyone thinking turning our city into a town full of bees is a great idea.

• the federal officials for ignoring all the illegal immigrants at the border, and instead traveling all over the country to push the infrastructure bill.

• everyone who thinks that the present elected officials are doing a good job.

• not having a full audit, if the election is so troubling, to end it once and for all.

• the representative who is obsolete.

• the political party that is self-destructing.

• those providing vaccines who expect people to come to them instead of taking it to the people.

• the elected official and popular sports figure rushing to judgement, accusing the police of systemic racism for shooting the knife-wielding black woman.

• the recount being lead by conspiracy theorists who want to inject more doubt into the 2020 results, perpetuating the big lie that there was election fraud.
