Open bass tournament to benefit sheriff association

The Ninth Annual Indiana Sheriff’s Association Sheriff Robert "Buck" Stogsdill Open Bass Tournament will be Aug. 28.

The tournament is named after Stogsdill, a former Brown County Sheriff who died in 2011.

This year’s event is at Lake Monroe-Cutright Ramp with boat check-in at 5:30 a.m. Registration fee per team is $125. A raffle and refreshments are planned.

All proceeds benefit the association’s Line of Duty Death Benefit, Youth Leadership camps and scholarship programs.
