Deadline approaching for donation matching

The Lilly Endowment Inc., headquartered in Indianapolis, is helping the Jennings County Community Foundation by matching $1 for every $2 donated in 2019 to an existing endowment.

The deadline for that match is Tuesday.

The endowment, set up in 1996 to benefit the Hayden Historical Museum, helps provide the museum income for operation and maintenance expenses. It also gives $250 to fund a scholarship for a Jennings County High School senior who was a member of the Hayden Little Hoosier Historians in grade school.

Donations can be dropped off at the museum from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Checks should be made out to the Jennings County Community Foundation and designated for the Morrison Fund.
