Adam William Cooley, 27, of County Road 800S, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at his home.
Adam was born in Columbus on May 28, 1986. He was employed at Walmart for eight years and enjoyed computers, reading, video games and burning music. He was a 2004 graduate of Columbus East High School.
Adam was the best son a mother could ask for. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.

Adam is survived by his mother, Sharri (Raymie) Kelsay of Columbus; father, Ken (Deborah) Cooley of Hope; grandmother, Rita Cooley of Columbus; grandfather, William C. Smith of Columbus; half sister, Casey Cooley of Hope; stepsister, Tyne Kelsay of Columbus; aunts and uncles, Benita and Jack Fetter of Columbus and Rene and Donnie Whicker of Taylorsville; stepniece, Kloe Mays of Columbus; cousin, Alysa Rich of Shelbyville; and several cousins and friends.
Adam was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Smith; grandfather, Kenneth A. Cooley; aunt and uncles, T.T. and Jack Dixon, Tim Cooley, and Chris Cooley.
