Alva Ruth Ison Frazier, 90, of Seymour, died at 7:26 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Schneck Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, Tom (Rita) Frazier of Dexter, Mo.; five daughters, Phyllis Loper of Freetown, Janet (Russ) Sutton of Seymour, Patsy (Monty) Lacy of Plano, Texas, Diana (Sam) Spray of Medora, and Mary Mackey of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Glennon (Thelma) Ison; three sisters, Gracie (Pat) Boggs, Eula (Silas) Gilliam and Doris (Doug) Day; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pascal "Pat" Frazier.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Freetown Funeral Chapel, with Pastor David Ison officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Valley Home Old Regular Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Valley Home Old Regular Baptist Church.
