Edward Leroy Meyer, 74 of South State Road 58, died at 9 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Meyer retired from Cummins Engine Company after 26 years of service.
He was owner of Meyer Grocery in Ogilville, a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge and enjoyed wintering in Florida, gardening and being outdoors.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mr. Meyer was born in Aurora, September 19, 1939, the son of Leonard and Helen Wagner Meyer. He married Joyce Clark on November 24, 1965.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Meyer; children, Terry (Steve) Nolley of Indianapolis; Tammy (Don) Byerly of Indianapolis; Tony (Sherry) Meyer of McCordsville and Doug (Lisa) Meyer of Brown County; a brother, James (Kathy) Beach of North Vernon; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Meyer.
