Beverly J. Olmstead, 80, formerly of Burlington, Vermont, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Four Seasons Health Care Center in Columbus, Indiana.
Born August 30, 1933, to the late Furman C. and Mildred V. Winne Bellinger, Beverly was the only daughter and youngest of four children.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Hardacre and her husband John, of Underhill, Vermont; a son, James "Jim" Olmstead and his wife Teresa "Terri," of Columbus, Indiana; and grandchildren, Jason Hardacre and Kathryn "Kate" Hardacre, both of Underhill, Vermont. Also surviving are a brother, Thomas L. Bellinger of Fultonville, New York; a sister-in-law, Lucy Bellinger of Fultonville, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold R. Bellinger and Kenneth Bellinger; a sister-in-law, Betty Bellinger; and nephews, Donald A. Bellinger and Glenn R. Bellinger.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus, with the Rev. Patrick Galligar officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
